Prizes?

I wanted to write a post concerning the draw that I am doing for the Plight of Steel, as some may be wanting more information regarding it.

The winner will be chosen four weeks after the release of the book, as I have said on the page, and he/she will be chosen blindly from a list of posts that use the hashtag mentioned. Posts from all websites will be compiled into one list, and the choice will be random.

Where are the Prizes?

As of July 30, the prizes are still in development, as I am still trying to figure out how to make them. The map will be a large poster, printed out on a sheet and signed, the brooches will likely be made from metal, or some material similar to it, and they will come with a display box made from wood and ornamented with dragonscale pattered material and jewels of some type, and the book will be a printed, signed copy with an note from me inside.

What’s the Catch?

There isn’t one. Hard to believe, but I mean it. I created this draw as an advertising strategy, as the hashtag will be spread across the internet, and the winner will be receiving the prizes as promised. The only upset in my plan could possibly be shipping costs, and I may have to restrict it to North America exclusively, but I’ll have to see what happens.

 

In conclusion, I wanted to be as transparent and truthful about this draw as possible, and I did not want to hide anything that did not need to be hidden. If you have questions, just leave a comment here or contact me some other way (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
